Grand Rapids Welcomes Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Holiday Show

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) has announced two holiday performances at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as part of their 2025 Winter Tour. Scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2025, the shows will feature TSO’s signature production titled “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve: the Best of TSO and More” at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

This year’s production introduces an all-new rendition of “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” alongside a second set that celebrates the 25th anniversary of “Beethoven’s Last Night.” Tickets for the performances will be made available on Friday, September 12, 2025, starting at 10 a.m. via the Van Andel Arena website. Fans will have the opportunity for an early purchase, with presales beginning on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 10 a.m.

Both performances are set to support local charities. Specifically, the matinee show will benefit Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, while the evening performance will contribute to the Idiots for Underdogs Charity.

A Glimpse into “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve”

“The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” tells the story of a runaway seeking refuge in an abandoned vaudeville theater on Christmas Eve. TSO is known for blending rock and classical music with theatrical elements, including pyrotechnics and laser displays, creating a unique holiday experience.

Supporting Local Communities

Since their inception, TSO has achieved remarkable milestones, selling over 20 million concert tickets and contributing more than $20 million to various charities. As part of their commitment, the orchestra donates at least $1 from each ticket sold to local organizations.

The group’s popular song “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” has amassed over 100 million streams on digital platforms, further solidifying their place in holiday music culture.

Celebrating Milestones

This tour marks a notable occasion for TSO as it celebrates the 25th anniversary of “Beethoven’s Last Night.” The beloved album will be released in a special 2LP vinyl set on September 12, 2025, featuring an exclusive lenticular cover and a red vinyl pressing.

For the first time since 2019, TSO will also revive a fan-favorite tradition of offering free signing opportunities following the evening show, enhancing the experience for attendees.

Upcoming Performances in the Region

In addition to their Grand Rapids shows, TSO will perform at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Saturday, December 27, 2025. The overall tour will encompass 64 cities and include 106 performances starting November 13 and concluding December 30, 2025, with both matinee and evening shows in select locations.

Fan Engagement and Ticketing Information

Pre-sale opportunities for TSO fan club members will commence on Thursday, September 4, and Friday, September 5, 2025, prior to the public ticket release on September 12. “Beethoven’s Last Night” has left an indelible mark on TSO’s legacy, and its anniversary promises to be a memorable celebration for both the orchestra and its fans.

The anticipation surrounding TSO’s 2025 Winter Tour reflects the orchestra’s dedication to bringing joy and musical brilliance to communities during the holiday season.
