The festival caters to all ages and features an exciting lineup of activities, including music, food, games, and local market flavors. The first half of the festival, from 1 to 5 p.m., is family-oriented, aiming to create a fun and welcoming environment for children and their families.

During the family-focused segment, attendees can enjoy a variety of attractions such as a local artist market showcasing local crafts and creations. Food trucks will be present, along with popular treats like pretzels and ice cream cones and kid-friendly slushies to keep the young ones cool. Oversized yard games, including a giant cornhole set, will also be available for family enjoyment.

The celebration continues in the evening with live music starting at 5 p.m., featuring three talented bands composed entirely of Brewery Vivant staff and longtime patrons. The lineup includes Dr. 4Ward & the Hosts, Green Acres, and Cheap Emotion, promising a lively atmosphere as festival-goers relax and enjoy the entertainment.

Brewery Vivant’s co-founder highlighted the significance of community involvement, indicating that the anniversary celebration is not only a milestone for the brewery but also an opportunity to strengthen local ties. The festival is co-sponsored by Uptown Grand Rapids, with Ingrid Miller, the executive director, noting the vital role of local events in shaping the character of the city.
