Grand Rapids is set to celebrate the launch of Cousins Maine Lobster’s latest food truck on April 26, marking an important milestone for the popular brand. This new addition not only represents the company’s 85th location but also coincides with the 13th anniversary of Cousins Maine Lobster, which was founded in 2012.

The grand opening event will be hosted at Speciation Cellars, located at 928 Wealthy St. SE, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Visitors can look forward to a festive day, which includes a ribbon-cutting ceremony and various celebratory activities.

lobster rolls, lobster tacos, and lobster grilled cheese. Sweet treats such as whoopie pies will also be available. Additionally, the menu features other seafood classics like lobster bisque and clam chowder, along with take-home lobster roll kits.

Franchise Partnership

The Grand Rapids food truck is operated by a trio of longtime friends and business partners: Hussein (Hank) Kdouh, Muhammed (Moe) Zahr, and Rabih Zahr. This marks their second venture after successfully launching a food truck in Detroit in 2022. Excitingly, they also plan to expand their operations further with a fourth truck slated to open in Kalamazoo in June.

Since its inception, the brand has grown to encompass over 45 food trucks and four brick-and-mortar locations across the country, all serving high-quality, wild-caught Maine lobster sourced from the Gulf of Maine.
