The Grand Rapids Foodie Frenzy is set to take place in downtown Grand Rapids, MI, on Saturday, May 10, from 1 to 8 p.m. This annual culinary festival will be hosted at 701 Front Ave. NW and is organized by Foodie Fest Entertainment.
Attendees can look forward to a vibrant atmosphere featuring over 20 local food and merchant vendors, along with more than 15 selections of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Highlights of the festival include a burger eating contest and various themed food zones, providing a unique culinary experience for food enthusiasts.
General admission tickets are available for $25, which includes free parking, access to a diverse range of vendors and food plates, live music with priority viewing, interactive activities such as yard games, and a 5% discount on the next Foodie Fest event. For those seeking a more exclusive experience, VIP tickets can be purchased for $75, offering additional perks like early entry at noon, a DIY workshop, free priority parking, a shaded VIP lounge with extra seating, premium alcohol tastings, private bathrooms, raffle giveaways for exclusive merchandise, and two drink tickets, as well as a 10% discount on future events. Children under 10 can enter for free.
The Foodie Frenzy is expected to draw over 50,000 attendees and collaborate with more than 50 vendors annually. It emphasizes local culinary talent and provides entertainment with live music, contributing to a festive community atmosphere.
The founders of Foodie Fest Entertainment, Amanda Hadd and Taia Vinson, initiated their first festival in 2022. Since then, the organization has expanded significantly and now hosts eight annual events across Michigan, including the Grand Rapids Wing Palooza in June, Grand Rapids Foodie Fest in July, Grand Rapids Reggae Fest in August, and Grand Rapids Taco Palooza in September.
